IMPACT Adult Program

IMPACT (Individuals Making Personal Achievements Come True) Adult Program provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in social and community activities. IMPACT serves individuals 18 years of age or over with cerebral palsy or other disabilities, including mental retardation, who will benefit from a day program focusing on community inclusion activities. All of our clients reside in the North Texas area. IMPACT is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The ultimate goal of IMPACT is to encourage and increase the independence of each person.

For information about joining IMPACT and to schedule a tour, please contact Daniel Vela at 214-247-4524 or

Several adults who attend IMPACT take the DART to the Harry Hines Service Center, where the adult program is located. Others have their caretaker drop them off. The UCP Team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about handling DART transportation to ensure the safety of the adults.
